Important: This calculator provides an estimate of annual leave entitlement for employees in the UAE private sector based on the applicable provisions of the UAE Labour Law. Employees are generally entitled to 30 days of annual leave for each year of service. Where the period of service is more than six months but less than one year, the employee is generally entitled to two days of leave for each month of service. Where employment ends before annual leave is used, the employee may be entitled to leave for the relevant fraction of the last year of service. Actual leave balances may vary depending on the employment contract, approved leave, company policies, carry-forward arrangements, work pattern and other applicable circumstances.
